Mathilde Luise Ottilie Mittge was born on 14 February 1840 in Hammelspring, Brandenburg, Kingdom of Prussia and died on 1 November 1907 in Forest Park, Cook Co., Illinois. She was buried in Forest Home Cem., Forest Park, Illinois. She was married to Christian Friedrich ("Fritz") Giegler, who was born on 3 June 1828 in Hertzfelde, Brandenburg, Prussia and died on 18 December 1888 in Pritzwalk. Mathilde emigrated to the United States, arriving on 19 September 1903.

Karl Friedrich Albert Mittge was born on 18 December 1843 in Brandenburg, Kingdom of Prussia. He died on 21 December 1918 in Laclede Co., Missouri, and is buried there in New Hope Cemetery. He was married to Karolina Wilhelmina Henrietta Kleinfeld on 20 November 1868 in Brandenburg, Prussia. Wilhelmina, as she was called, was born on 21 April 1841 in Germany and died on 23 October 1924 in Bartlett, Shannon Co., Missouri; she is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery outside of Birch Tree, Shannon Co., Missouri. Her parents were Wilhelm Friedrich ("Fritz") Kleinfeld and Lotta Schneider. Karl was later known as Carl Frederick Albert Mittge or Charles Mittge. This family emigrated to the United States in 1887.

Marie Louise O. Mittge was born on 25 May 1859 in Storkow, Brandenburg, Kingdom of Prussia and died on 13 June 1935 in River Forest, Cook Co., Illinois. She is buried in Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park, Illinois. In 1884 Marie was married to Johannes Bartsch and had two children; Johannes died in 1888 in Germany. Marie married, second, to Herman Julius Krieger in 1892 and they had one child. Herman was born on 15 July 1867 in Landsberg, Königsberg, Kingdom of Prussia and died on 2 April 1937 in Illinois. Marie, her husband Herman, and her three children emigrated to the United States in 1903.
