I have twin 6-year-old sons that are the last male Mitchells in my family. I would love to leave them some family history.

John C. Mitchell, possibly from Atlanta GA (died in 1907). His wife was possibly Kelly (died in 1907).

John C. and wife (Kelly)'s son was - James Marshall Mitchell Sr., born 1898 James Marshall Mitchell Sr's wife was - Sarah Elizabeth Lyle Mitchell, born 1880 in Dickson County, TN.

James Marshall Mitchell Sr. (Photo at left) and Sarah Elizabeth Lyle Mitchell's sons were:

James Marshall Mitchell Jr. (Sonny) possibly born 1918 in Cinn. OH, died in the line of duty Aug. 9th 1944 at the age of 26 in WWII, he was in the 6th Armored Division and his service number was AS34710101.

Another son was - 415-10-4668 John Nerren Mitchell Sr., possibly born in Atlanta on 12-26-21.

James Marshall Mitchell Jr was my grandfather. He married Minnie Pearl Johnson in Nashville. Their son is Albert Darnell Mitchell (my father).
