Dear Ms. Joiner,
I have checked our records and here is what we have. From roll 144 of the National Archives, PM Woods, Pvt of the 5th MS, Co.D was captured at Edwards Depot, MS on 5-18-63. He was sent to Fort Delaware, and exchanged to City Point, VA on 7-4-63. That is all we have.
Thank you for your interest in Fort Delaware.
Sincerely,
