ERATH - Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic
Church in New Orleans will be the setting for the 7 p.m. Nov. 25 ceremony
uniting Lovey Elizabeth Vice and Brett Douglas Wakefield in holy
matrimony.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kirk and Liz Vice.
She is the granddaughter of the late Bob and Jean Segura and the late
Pressley and Rita Vice. She is a graduate of Erath High School and
Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge with a Bachelor of Science in
Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Textiles, Apparel and Merchandising
with a concentration in Apparel Design. She is employed by CNC Investments
in Houston as the senior graphics designer.
The prospective groom
is the son of Doug and Faith Wakefield of New Orleans. He is the grandson
of Donald and Joan Grush and the late Thomas and Mary Jane Wakefield. He
is a graduate of Archbishop Rummel High School, Louisiana State University
at Baton Rouge with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and
Decision Sciences and the University of New Orleans where he received a
Masters of Business Administration. He is a technology risk consultant for
Protiviti in Houston.
After the wedding, the couple plan to reside
in Kingwood, Texas.

Reverends Wayne Duet and Naos McCool officiated at the ceremony. The

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless
diamond white gown of draped duchess satin with a sweetheart neckline and
a modified mermaid silhouette designed by Ulla Maija. She carried a
bouquet of eggplant calla lilies surrounded by white hydrangea and hand
tied with a white satin ribbon. Matron of honor was Kira Mares.
Bridesmaids were Rachel Landry, Sheree' Abadie, Mandy Migues, Hope
Wakefield and Liz Rodrigue. Junior bridesmaid was Taylor Baudoin. They
wore floor length gowns of cognac duchess satin with a bustled skirt and a
java satin ribbon at the waist. They carried gathered bouquets of sunset
calla lilies, red and gold freesia nestled in variegated green hydrangea
hand tied with brown satin ribbon.
Best man was Dustin Mares.
Groomsmen were Ian Vice, Mark Ficarra, Weldon Frommeyer, Justin Rice,
David Tucker, Shawn Woodward and Chad Cazabon.
Ushers were Josh
Sanderson, Kyle Sanderson, Matt Hannan and Tyler Hannan.
Flower
girls were Julian Segura and Olivia Segura. Ring bearer was Hayden
Prejean.
Readers were Donna Prejean and Ashlie Farmer.
Following the wedding, a reception was held at the New Orleans Board of
Trade on Magazine Street.
