Hanson 21 Feb 1954 in Plainview Baptist Church, Jones County, Texas.

Jack
Jones peacefully joined his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 28,
2009 in Lewisville, Texas. Visitation will be Thursday October 1st from
6:30-8:30 pm at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Burial
with military honors will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at Hilltop
Memorial Park in Carrollton. A Celebration of Jack's Life service will
be held 2:00pm Friday at Christ United Methodist Church in Farmers
Branch. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Christ
United Methodist Church. Jack was born October 19, 1930 on the family
farm in Jones County, Texas to Tom and Dessie Jones. After graduation
from Stamford High School, he served the United States Army in the Big
Red One. Jack worked for Texas Instruments for 32 years and was a long
time resident of Farmers Branch. In 2006 Jack and his wife moved to the
Evergreen Community in Lewisville to be near their children and
grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, brothers
Durwood, Shubeal and Tomas well as his in-laws Sam and Lydia Hanson,
and brothers-in-law Joe Hanson and James Brown. Jack is survived by his
loving wife of 55 years, Nell Hanson Jones. Cherishing their dad's
memory are daughters Linda Krause and Kay Roach and son-in-law Carl
Krause. Filled with a lifetime of memories are the grandchildren: Kelly
and Emily Krause, Nick, Matt and Parke Roach as well as two precious
great-grandchildren James and Katherine Grace. Jack is also survived by
his sister, Rebecca Brown, sisters-in-law Linda Jones and Betty Hanson,
Aunt Traleta Cockrell. His much loved nieces and nephews: Debra Brown,
Terri Sime, Pam Moore, Nick Jones, Mike and Dan Brown, Tommy and Lee
Jones as well as many cousins and great nieces and nephews. Also
surviving Jack is his church family at Christ United Methodist Church
and the Rambo and Sickles families as well as many other friends. The
family would like to thank Dr. Pivnick, Dr. Peri, the Vitas Hospice
team, and angels Debbye and Kim for the wonderful care that they have
given to Jack for the last years,
