Hulen Howard Harris son of Lillian Verda Keller and Quinn Marion Harris was born 22 Jul 1927 in  Coleman County, Texas and died 01 Jun 2009 at Circle of Life Care Center, Springdale, Benton, Arkansas. He married Sealy Jean Golsen daughter of Frank Golsen and Emma  Florance Tabors . She was born 14 Aug 1928 in Burkett, Coleman County, Texas and died 11 Jun 1986 in Big Springs, Howard County, Texas. They are both buried at Burkett Cemetery, Coleman County, Texas


Hulan Harris was born July 22, 1927, in Burkett, TX. His parents Quinn and Lillian Harris are deceased. Also, preceding him in death is a son Ricky Dan Harris. Hulan is survived by his wife, Sue, of the home in Bella Vista, AR; a daughter Vicki Hiett, of Rogers, AR; grandson, Christopher Heitt, of Brooklyn, NY; brother, Grady Harris, and Ovella of Coleman, TX. Also, many nephews, nieces, and their families of TX. An extended family of OK; William and Debbie Cossey, Andrew, Aaron, and Harley; Kent Cossey; Darron Cossey and Megan, Kasey and Kristy Cossey and Kaden, Justin and Susan Cossey Rainwater and Chance. Sister-in-law-, Sharon of Bentonville, AR; Brother-in-laws, Jack Hill, of Oakland, GA; and David James of Canton, NC. Hulan was of the Protestant faith. He was baptized by his brother, Grady, at the family farm. After a year battle with cancer, and other health issues, Hulan passed away June 1st 2009, at the Circle of Life Care Center in Springdale, AR. For Hulan, love of life was the ultimate experience, For his country, he proudly served in the US Navy, during WWII.. His desire to improve public education, and, be a responsible part of that accomplishment was a continual priority. Dedication for youth to achieve was demonstrated by his years of service with the Texas State Fair, the Fort Worth Stock Show, and the Texas State Educational Programs. He was a Teacher and State Supervisor for the Texas State Department of Education for many years. Hulan was a remarkable person with true values, every day living to the fullest, with a most caring and kind word for one and all. Strangers were not permitted to remain in Hulan's space because, he made everyone welcome as a friend. He gave the warmth of friendship, with an attitude of respect to all with whom he was associated. A great Texas smile and a recognizable laugh were the HHH trademarks. This, very memorable, to all his Fuzzy Corner friends and lifetime bosom buddies. The family closed the final season of Hulan's life with his interment in the Burkett Community Cemetery, Burkett, TX.
