George Patterson (son of Littleberry Patterson and Elizabeth Ragsdale) was born 1803 in York County, South Carolina and died 17 March 1868 in Monroe County, Tennessee. Susan Garren (daughter of Adam Garren and a Cherokee Indian) was born 01 Jan 1810 in Monroe County, Tennessee and died 30 Jul 1898 in Monroe County, Tennessee. They were married 13 Aug 1830 in Monroe County, Tennessee. They are both buried in Notchey Creek Cemetery, Monroe County, Tennessee
