Raymond Anderson DeBusk son of Samuel "Sam" Dickson DeBusk and Frances Virginia Broocke was born 30 May 1903 in Texas and died 29 Oct 1980 in Taylor County, Texas. He married Veda Lydia Keller daughter of Granville Beverly Keller and Oprah Henderson in 1940. She was born 29 May 1902 in Missouri and died 13 Jan 1988 in Burkett, Coleman County, Texas. They are both buried at Burkett Cemetery, Coleman County, Texas.

Raymond broke his neck as teenager.

Veda Lydia Keller taught school for 43 years before retiring in 1972. She had a son, Granville William "Bill" Cowan from a prior marriage. He was a Lt in the US Navy. He died while bombing Japan four day before peace was declared.

She lived about one and a half miles from school and always walked to school. The school was three room, three teacher school when she started. There was only one teacher when Lydia started in grade 1 in about 1897.
