[NI7989] I'm a little confused about this child. In 1900, R. C. and Elizabeth Scott were listed with a daughter named Emma, born June 1999. In 1910, Elizabeth was a widow, living with her parents. One of her children was "Elmer C." aged 10, a grandson to the head of the household. Elizabeth was listed as having borne 4 children, three who were living, so I assumed "Emma" had died. Yet in 1920, one of Elizabeth's children was called Alma C. and in 1930, one was called Elma C. Was Elmer listed as male by mistake in 1910? For now, I am assuming these are all the same child.
