Gavin Mitchell, born in 1720,died circa 1779 at Newton Twp, Cumberland County, PA, married Isabella _____, born in 1725, died circa 1791 at Newton Twp. Isabella's maiden name may have been Campbell. Little is known about Gavin and Isabella. He was a farmer and landowner in Cumberland County. Their children's names are gleaned from probate records. Son-in-Law, Josias Brown was named as executor in both their wills.
