Did you know Portland had two Irish neighborhoods?
Many Irish residents on the east side of the city's peninsula
were parishioners of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
If you are unable to locate your ancestor's baptismal or marriage records at St. Dominic/Sacred Heart, try Cathedral or the Portland Diocesan Archives office.
