     Lucius C. Jacobs was also known as Luke Jacobs. Lucius was born at Jalapa, Grant Co., Indiana, USA, circa 1845.1 He was the son of Lorenzo Dow Jacobs and Hester Ann Johnson.2 He married Hester Ann Snyder at Grant Co., Indiana, USA, on January 4, 1866.1 He married Martha Sweet after 1866.3,1 Lucius died on March 1, 1904 at Bloomingdale, Van Buren Co., Michigan, USA. He died as quoted from the death certificate: "fallen to death off a ladder while picking apples".3,1 His body was interred after March 1, 1904 at Paw Paw, Van Buren Co., Michigan, USA, at Prospect Cemetery. There are other graves there of his family around him. His grave stone has a marker that is usually decorated with a Civil War Veterens flag..3,1
