He married Rita Mary Bucher in Syracuse, Onondaga, NY, 12 AUG 1950.

Ronald Chester Shoecraft and Rita Mary Bucher had the following children:

5 ii. Kurt Thomas Shoecraft was born in Syracuse, Onondaga, NY 26 OCT 1955. He married Kelley Dewey in Bellaire, Antrim, MI, 25 JUL 1981. Kelley was born in Charlevoix, Charlevoix, MI 8 JUL 1959. Kelley is the daughter of Orland Dewey and Eleanor Jean Hardy.

6 iii. Susan Elizabeth Shoecraft was born in N. Tonawanda, Niagara, NY 26 OCT 1960. She married Robert Ray Thiebaud Jr in Incline Village, Washoe, NV, 4 SEP 1993. Robert was born in Key West, Monroe, FL 25 APR 1959. Robert is the son of Robert Ray Thiebaud Sr and Susan Hoover.

7 iv. Steven Craig Shoecraft was born in Lewisburg, Union, PA 25 JUL 1963.
