As I work through more database and other information, I find spelling variations all over the place. The same family may go through 2 or more variations between different census dates. The same person may be Mikesell, Meixel, Meixell, Mixsell, Meixsel, Maxsell and who know what else. Don't forget Maxwell also. Remember, many of these people couldn't spell and the census takers used whatever looked right to them. Of course, LDS will have other variations.

SO, I'm leaving the spelling to whatever is the last thing I found significant info under. This may leave sibling with different spelling that may be different than the parents. Your welcome to change them to whatever you please. If you feel the spelling should be a set way, please let me know.
