Announcing the 2010 Jacksboro Texas Middlebrooks Family Reunion
Date & Time: 10:00 am, Saturday the 12th of June
Place: Jacksboro National Bank Community Room
The theme for this year’s get together is “Middlebrooks Revival”. Many things are planned. We will be updating family history charts and lists, making photographs of all who attend to be shared that same day, and are generally planning on having a good time visiting with everyone who comes. So, bring your own cherished family memorabilia, photographs and family history information to be shared with the clan. Most of all bring yourselves and your loved ones to the ancestral Texas Middlebrooks homeplace in Jacksboro to have a good time, good food, and to renew old family acquaintances and make new ones.

So, mark your calendars for Saturday, June the 12th. We have really enjoyed being the family reunion officers these past 2 years and look forward to seeing you all again this year- Eva Middlebrooks Putman and Daphne Middlebrooks Hadley.
Also this year we are planning some additional activities in the form of social games as fun things to do. In addition, Sam Middlebrooks has been helping plan the reunion this year and has offered to conduct a field trip to visit old home sites and the Oakwood, Graves, Hicks, and Lynn Creek cemeteries in and around Jacksboro where many of our kin are buried. More on this to come but if you are interested we may do some exploring either before or after the reunion meeting on Saturday morning.
One of the things we are working on to enable kin to stay in touch with each other in today’s world is to put together a list of everyone’s email addresses. Please send us your email address so we can work to keep our geographically widening circle of family closer in today’s electronic age. Send your email address and any other contact information you would like shared with the family to one or all of us:
