DECATUR -- E. Marie Frey, 84, of Decatur died 11:15 a.m. Tuesday (May 14, 2002) in her residence.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday in Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in North Fork Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church.
Marie was born Dec. 9, 1917, in Danville, the daughter of George J. and Pauline Hosch Krueger. She retired from a nursing career in 1997. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church for nearly 60 years and a past member of ABWA and LPNAI. She married Wallace Charles Frey on Oct. 28, 1939, in Danville. He preceded her in death June 15, 2001.
Surviving are her son, John D. Frey Sr. and wife Deborah of Decatur; daughter, Ruth Anne Harris and husband Claude of Decatur; brother, Walter Krueger of Fort Myers, Fla; sister, Ruth Griffin of Catlin; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, George Krueger, and infant sister, Pauline Louise.
