1. Johann HUSTER was born in Westphalia, Germany. (1)

He was married to Anna Catharine CLOSS in Elssoff, Westphalia, Germany. Her name is also shown by some researchers as Cluss. Johann HUSTER and Anna Catharine CLOSS had the following children:

1 i. John HIESTER was born in 1707 in Elssof borough, Grafschadt township, Witgenstein, Germany. Immigrated to Philadelphia County in 1732 He died in 1757.

2 ii. Joseph HIESTER.

3 iii. Daniel HIESTER was born on 1 Jan 1713 in Elssof borough, Grafschadt township, Witgenstein, Germany.(2) He died on 7 Jun 1795 in Reading, Berks Co., PA.(2) He had an estate probated on 22 Jun 1795 in Reading, Berks Co., PA. (3)

Abstract:
HIESTER, DANIEL. Reading. May 7, 1788-June 22, 1795 Provides for wife Catherine. To eldest son John (later General John Hiester) the plantation in Coventry Township, Chester County, on which he now lives and for which he has a deed. To son Daniel the plantation in Upper Salford Township in Montgomery County, on which he used to live and for which he has a deed. To son Gabriel, the plantation in Bern on which he now lives and for which he has a deed. To son William the plantation and several adjacent tracts in Bern now in his possession. To dau. Margaret, wife of Philip Hahn, L1000. To dau. Catherine, wife of Jacob Bishop, all that I ave advanced them and charged them in my book. Remainder divided between above 4 sons and 2 daughters. Exs: Sons John, Daniel, Gabriel and William Wits: Jacob Diemer, John Hartman and Peter Nagle.

Moved to Reading in 1774. Immigrated in 1737 on the ship "The St. Andrew Galley" from Elsoff, Westphalia, Germany. He owned a farm and tannery at Gossenhoppen where he originally settled.
