My dearest great grandmother you were even younger than my mother when you departed from this life.  I know how my grandmother, your daughter Meta Louise must have missed you so much as she was growing up. Never getting to know you and always wondering how it would have been to have a mother to give her love and attention that only a mother can give.

What a different life it must have been here for you in this new country.  Although you were born in Canada after your parents and older siblings left Germany, this new territory of Arizona must have been very strange and full of many hardships. I know your departure left a very bereaved husband, parents and siblings. It was evident from the research that I have done that you were your husband's whole life.

My grandmother Meta spoke often of your parents who raised her and her brother and sister after your departure. Your family took the responsibility of raising your children and I know that my grandmother had a lot of respect and admiration for them. But when my grandmother left our family for that wonderful heavenly place where you were waiting for her, how wonderful at last to feel your embrace and love.  What a great reunion, all of you together for all of eternity.
