My darling cousin Irene what a remarkable place you had in this family of ours. Not only were you the first child of our grandparent's first child, but also the first grandchild of many to follow. That certainly made you a first in so many areas and a first in the hearts of your family.

I remember the days when my mother was living and you lived next door. All of the times you would come over and talk with my mother, you were so close to her. You would brush my hair as you would talk with my mother, you always gave me your special attention too.

What a devoted wife and mother you were, always supportive of your husband, standing beside him in all of his endeavors. Because of that support he was able to teach that Sunday School Class for the Young Married Couples that I remember going to so many years ago.

The power of prayer, you certainly had faith in God to answer prayer. Because of this there were many prayers that you and your husband said for all of the family for many years. These prayers are still being answered today because of your faithfulness to God and your prayer life.

Dear cousin so many things can be said of your life while you were here, not only the devotion to God but to the family. All of the times you and your husband opened your home for family get-togethers and the great love and concern that was shown to all of us. All of these things will always be remembered. You will never be forgotten and always loved by all of us, "Your Family".
