MY
TRIBUTE
IN LOVING MEMORY
TO MY GRANDMOTHER

My beloved grandmother how wonderful it would have been to know you. I was only eight when you departed from our family. Your other grandchildren were older and have wonderful memories of you. Your son William's children, have shared so many wonderful things about you with me, they loved you so much.

I am so grateful for the legacy you left in the poems, your life story and the letters to your sisters and family. It has given me such an insight of you and how compassionate and loving you were. Especially in your diary and your letters, how you tell of your children and grandchildren and how much they meant to you. More importantly of your faith and love for your Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ.

You left to the family the legacy of the history of your family. There are descendents of your siblings that still have documents of this history that you researched for so many years. I am trying to carry on and preserve this history of our family. This is something that I can leave for my children and the family that will keep your memory alive in the hearts of all your future descendants.
