"On the application of WILEY JONES, ELBERT JONES, and CELIA
JONES,
Executors and Executrix of RUSSELL JONES, dec'd., with the will
annexed.
Ordered by the Court tha letters of testamentary be granted them on
said
estate, the will having been legally proven.
In the Name of God, Amen.
I, RUSSELL JONES, being now in my right mind and memory but knowing that it is appointed for all men to die and being under considerable bodily infermity do make and appoint this my last Will and Testament.
First, I recomment my Soul to God from whicm I received it and my body to the grave when I am dead to be decently buried.
Secondly, that all my just debts may be paid.
Thirdly, I give and bequeath unto my dear and affectionate wife, CELIA JONES, all my personal Estate, consisting of horses, cattle and hogs and household and kitchen furniture during her life or Widowhood (except one cow and calf which I give unto my daughter Rebecca at my death in fee simple) and at my wife's death, or in case she should marry, to be equally divided between all my children.
Fourthly, incase the stock of cattle should increase and become burdensome so much may be given off to the children that are of age, or married, as my Executors may think adviseable.
Fifthly, my Will is that all my land sin Georgia may be sold and the
net proceeds after defraying all expenses, to be equally divided
between
my three sons (that is) WILEY, ELBERT and RUSSELL.
And, lastly, I do appoint my wife, CELIA and my two sons WILEY and
ELBERT my Executors.
