Being very sick and weak in body but perfect mind and
memory
Thanks be Given unto God; Calling unto mind the mortality of my body
and
knowing that it is appointed For all men one to die do make and ordain
this my last will and Testament: This is to say, principally, and first
of all I give and recommond my Soul into the hand of Almighty God that
Gave it, and my body to the Earth to be buried in a decont Christian
Buriel
at the discretion of my friends and Executors -And as Touching such
Worldly
Estate wherewith it hath pleased
God to blefe me in this life I Give devise and dispose of the
same in the Following manner and form---
First I Give to my Grand son Thomas Henson Welch, he being the son
of my Daughter Salley Allen which she had before she was married to Wm
Allen, The Tract of Land and plantation whereon I now live containing

Acres by him and his heirs freely to be rented out until the said
Thomas
Henson Welsh be of age and that half the rent thereof be Given to my
wife
Frances Welsh during her natural life by her to be used or disposed of
as she my think proper---
Also I Give to my Grandson Thomas Henson Welsh my Bay horse new
saddle and bridle-
Also I Give to my Grandson Thomas Henson Welsh all my Plantation and
Carpenters tools, also one feather Bead and furniture
Also I Give to my beloved wife Frances Welsh one Cow one feather bed
and furniture together with att my house hold and kitchen furniture
Also I Give to my Daughter Betsey Welsh one Dollar to be paid her out
of my Estate.
I Give to my Daughter Dorcas Merchant one Dollar to be paid her out
of my Estate.
I Give to my Daughter Mary Fouller one Dollar to be paid her
out of my Estate.
I Give to my Daughter Charlotte Humphries on Dollar to be paid her
out of my Estate.
I Give to my Daughter Salley Allen one Dollar to be paid to her out
of my Estate.
I Give to my Daughter Rebecckah Welsh one Dollar to be paid her out
of my Estate.
I Give to my son William Welch one Dollar to be paid him out of my
Estate.
I Also Constitute make and ordain James Douthit the sole Executor of
this my last will and Testament and I do hereby utterly disallow
revoke and disannul all other wills ratifying and Confirming this and
no
other to be my last will and Testament.
