Elmer Hawk was born in 1862, Dotters Corners, Monroe Co, PA; died in Easton, Northampton County, PA,. 1931.  He married Mary E. Peters c. 1887 and it is thought that this took place in NJ. Their first child, Raymond was born in Kingston, NJ. Mary died at a young age in 1906. Both are buried in the historic Easton Cemetery but not in the same section.

They had the following children:

*  Raymond, born 1888; died 1909--never married. He is buried in the historic Easton Cemetery.

*  Rosa Anna, born 1892.  She married Wilhelm Walters.

*  Mabel, born 1893; died 1974;  She married Ralph E. Sharp

*  Martha, born 1899. She married Charles Hank.

*  Elmer, born 1905; died 1940 in Kilbuck, Ohio. He married Ida Irene Temple
