Wesley Methodist Church Cemetery
East Norwich

There are no names of interred people on the listing that I have. It is listed in the Index to the Addenda in the Abandoned Cemeteries in Oyster Bay. The manuscript is from 1962.


IN East Norwich, on a hill East of the Oyster Bay - Jericho Road about 100 yards South of the church property, contains stones dating from 1839 and later, for members of the Vernon, Waldron, Wright, Hawxhurst and other families. Recent cleaning East and South of the fenced cemetery has revealed 15 or 20 additional monuments, but they appear to be no older than those within the fence. The cemetery is still in use.
