Martin GRADY,1 son of John GRADY ( - ) and Catherine FITZGERALD ( - ), was born in 1798 (approx.) in Dunmoylan, Limerick Co, Ireland.2 In 1820 he was a Reaper, in Ireland.2 He was a follower of the Roman Catholic faith .2 His Conviction was ' Seizing Arms' in 1821 in County Limerick, Ireland. The address was: Special Commission. He married Mary KNIGHT on 8 February 1835 at St Luke's Church of England in Liverpool, NSW . Martin Grady and Mary Knight were married by banns with the consent of the governor on the 8 Feb 1835 at St Luke's C of E Liverpool NSW in the parish of Cabamatta. Chaplain Robert Cartwright. In the presence of Daniel Canvin & Elizabeth Canvin of South Creek NSW. Martin signed with an X and Mary signed her name.

The cause was Disease of Liver.5 He was buried on 2 May 1858 in Roman Catholic Section Grave 953 in Braidwood.6
