Catherine GRADY,1 daughter of Martin GRADY (1798?-1858) and Mary KNIGHT (1815-1853), was born on 21 June 1836 at Black Creek near in Charleyong, NSW.2 She was baptised on 1 October 1837 at St Marys Cathedral in Sydney, NSW.3 She married Jeremiah SMITH on 25 February 1851 at "Armprior" in Larbert , NSW . Larbert is near Braidwood.4 She was baptised on 4 June 1908 in Nelligen, NSW.5 She died on 1 January 1919 at Main St in Milton, NSW (aged 82).6 She was buried on 2 January 1919 in Church of England Section, B8/2 unmarked, Sandridge Cemetery in Mollymook, NSW.7


Jeremiah SMITH was the son of Jeremiah SMITH (1778?-1848) and Sophia AKERS (1795-1874). He and Catherine GRADY had the following children:
