Norfolk Street Methodist Church Parsonage

Manse

In 1885 during Rev. Dr. Griffin's second pastorate (1882-1885) the parsonage on Liverpool Street was built, the two previous parsonages having been the old cottage back from the street on Norfolk Street, four doors north of the church, and subsequently the cottage on the east corner of Liverpool and Dublin Streets, which was opened on March 3, 1870.

The parsonage in the early days was the centre not only of the spiritual but also the social life of its members.
