CLARK, WILLIAM

William Clark was b. in Ire., in 1855. He came to Canada in 1864 as a mere boy, after working in Peel Tp., for five years, he went to California, where, in about five years, he made enough money to return, and commerce farming on 50 acres in Peel Tp.

Later he purchased his present farm of 100 acres, lot 3, con. 7, Peel Tp., where he carries on mixed farming. He is a Liberal in politics, active in church affairs, and is a Steward of the Methodist church.

He m. Sarah Johnston in 1874. Issue: Mrs. C. W. Murray, Toronto; George, N.W.T.; Annie, Bessie, and Sarah Jane.
