EBENSTEIN FAMILY

Please read this page first!

NOTE: This is the second draft of my genealogy pages here on RootsWeb. They are NOT complete. Wives are linked to the Family Group Sheet (FGS) for their husbands, where they have more complete information than on the FGS for their parents. Other than my direct ancestors, all children are linked to their entry on their parents' FGS. I have not yet linked the parents from the child's FGS.

Also to come is my Granger ancestry, as well as my husband's Palmer/Wise ancestry. These are quite extensive and will take some time to get ready. They include several Revolutionary War Patriots, as well as Mayflower and Mary and John passengers. Please be patient if you are interested in these lines. You may email us at themapalmer@earthlink.net if you would like to share information.

IMPORTANT!!!!  I have included information that may not be sufficiently documented. If there is a dispute about the ancestry of an individual (such as Elizabeth Reynolds), I have noted it on that page. Also, not all of my sources are included here - only those I have entered in my genealogy program to date (The Master Genealogist®) If you have additional information, questions, or comments, please contact me at the email address shown above.

NAVIGATING: This page is the index/home page for the four families named above. At the top of this page you can click on the family you are interested in. You will then go to a page with the name listings for all persons we have in our databases for that name. You may also click on the 'Pictures' button to go to the page for any pictures we may have ready.

Clicking on the link for a name will take you to the family group sheet for that family. If you do not find yourself positioned at the top of the page, or on the spouse, you have selected a child of the couple. Unless that child is a direct ancestor of ours, there will normally NOT be any additional information other than what is given there. I will gladly add links to other sites, or add pages, if you provide the necessary information to me.

PICTURES: Also on the surname page is a link to pictures for this surname. The picture page is arranged by family. If you are using a dial-up connection, be prepared for a lengthy download time!  I kept these pages as streamlined as possible, but some have lots of pictures. Select the parents you are interested in. If you are looking for pictures of a child of that couple, they will be under that couple. I have tried to arrange them in the birth order of the children.

I have an extensive collection of pictures of the Ebenstein family for 3 or 4 generations, as well as some Hill and Granger families. My husband also has a large collection of pictures for the Palmers and the Wises. The pictures included in the web pages are thumbnails of the original pictures. Click on the thumbnail to open the full-sized original scan in a new window.

ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS: We have many original documents, or photocopies of original documents, in our possession. I am treating them as pictures on this website, as PDF documents are not allowed. See the paragraph on pictures for instructions on viewing them.

SAVING AND COPYING: We have no problem with you downloading any of our pictures or documentation. We only ask that you give due credit if you use these items on another web site or writing.
