Note: __ ___ ____ OBITUARY: Antrim County News, Thursday, September 3, 1970 SET RITES FRIDAY FOR LYDIA BUCHER Funeral services will be held Friday, September 4 at 2:00 pm at the Paulin funeral home in Mancelona for Mrs. Lydia L. Bucher, 81, of Hinman St., Mancelona, who died Tuesday, September 1 at Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital where she had been a patient for two days. The Rev. James Mapes will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mrs. Bucher was born May 8, 1889 in Tennessee to David and Julia Hostler Hill. she had lived most of her life in this area. On January 6, 1918 she was married in Boyne City to Ernest Bucher, who preceded her in death, as did a son, Carl, and a daughter, Mabel. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Oliver (Edith) Dewey, Bellair, and Mrs. Clifford (Esther) Weaver, Louisville, Ky.; two sons, Ernest Bucher of Vassar and Albert Bucher of Pontiac; three sisters, Elizabeth Hyde of Tower, Edith Bradrow of California, and Nancy Ebenstein of Big Rapids; a brother Daniel Hill of Harrison; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
