Mendocino County Biographies

This page contains an index and links to scanned images of biographies of Mendocino County people. These came from a number of different sources, but mainly the 1880 history of Mendocino county. You can find a scanned copy of this book on the HeritageQuest Online web site. Check with your local library to see if they subscribe to this service. Other bios have been taken from the local county newspapers. When this is done I will list the newspaper name and publication date.

There is also a web site which has all the biographies from the 1880 history transcribed. It's titled Mendocino County California Biography Project. I have a copy of this book and can scan the pages you might want & send them to you via e-mail.
