Throughout the years, the family lived in a variety of places including Grainger, Henderson, and Decatur Counties, TN; Jefferson and Henry Counties, IA; Sierra and Sonoma Counties, CA; Knox County, MO; Harper County, KS; and Fannin County, TX.
