OBITUARY: Ardmorite Daily Paper, 12 Nov 1941; "Funeral services for Margaret A. Tanner were held Nov 12 at the Lone Grove Methodist Church. An inmate of the Confederate Home for the last ten years. She died Tuesday evening. She had been ill three years. . . Burial in the Lone Grove Cemetery. Lived in Carter County, Oklahoma fifty years. Her husband Ely Tanner (Harrision) died in 1894. Of their eight children only two survive, Frank (George Franklin Tanner) and R.B. Tanner (Richard Benson Tanner) Lone Grove. . . ." (original copied by Kenneth L. Duncan 6 Apr 1979).
