Dave & Ann Bellamy wrote: My husband and I bought some land south of Boonville, Cooper Co., MO. On this land we have found 2 graves. Isaac Duncan b. Aug 20, 1776 d. Oct 5, 1842. Delitha Duncan b. Mar 17, 1790 d. Mar 16, 1851. We just cleaned around the graves last weekend. Things had grown up around them and Isaac's stone is broken. We found a piece of his stone with his death date on it and that completed the puzzle. The graves are located out in a pasture, with a tree in between the stones. The roots are what has broken Isaac's stone. Delitha's stone is still complete. We would like to repair the stone and put a fence around them. We are interested in knowing about Isaac and Delitha and why they are buried out there and with no other graves around and why they were not buried in a cemetery. Can you tell us anything about Isaac? Where is his first wife buried? I have done some research this week and found some info on his brother Henry. He is from this area also. Any information that you can give us will be appreciated. Dave & Ann Bellamy abellamy@@undata.com
