Individual Note: DEATH-OBIT: The Salida Mail, 24 Nov 1903: "Henry Wareham, an old time prospector, well known in Salida and Chaffee County, dropped dead in a miner's cabin at Midway, an isolated halfway place on the Turret-Whithorn stage line, at 7 o'clock Sunday night. . . .The deceased came to Salida in 1880, and was widely known as a prospector in this section of the state. He spent several years in Texas shortly after that country gained its independence from Mexico. He was seventy years of age . . ."
