Esaias Quincy Dailey; Esaias' grandfather, Marvin Dailey, a Sea Captain out of Scotland, was lost at sea after bringing his wife and ten-year-old son to Baltimore, Maryland. The youg wife and son went to Virginia and there John Thomas Married Mary Major, born in Wales. They had eight children, several of whom, including Esaias, were born in Virginia. From there the family went by wagon to Athens County, Ohio . . .
