LAND & PROPERTY: Allegany County, Maryland deed book P, 1829-32, p.112: At the request of Joseph M Trollinger the following deed was recorded the 14 May 1830. Indenture made the same day between Brice W Howard of Allegany County, MD of the one part and Joseph M Trollinger of the same place. Brice Howard trustee of David Spencer deceased to Joseph M Trollinger a parcel of land on 24 Apr 1819.

Ibid., deed book AA, 1839-1840, p. 159-161, FHLF# 13302. Heirs of Jacob Trollinger. At the request of John Duckworth of Uriah this deed was recorded January 8, 1840. Indenture made the 18 Nov 1839 between the heirs of Jacob Trollinger dec'd as follows: Jacob Tedrick, Samuel Tedrick, Mary Trollinger, Ann Trollinger, Lydia Trollinger, Jacob Trollinger and Sarah Trollinger his wife, Joseph M. Trollinger and Mary Jane Trollinger his wife all of Allegany County and state of Maryland and George Trollinger and Onora Trollinger his wife of Knox County, Ohio all of the one part to John Duckworth of Uriah of Allegany County, Maryland of the other part . . . . .

Dec. 13, 1870, aged 71-2-28 (old stone; per L.B.). NOTE: An additional birth date from the IGI records the date of birth for Jacob Trollinger as 16 Nov 1798. The calculated birth year from the new stone at Glen Forest Cemetery is 1788 which, based upon census records, is not correct.

Lovett his wife of Allegany Co., MD of the one part to Jacob Trollinger of same of the other part. Whereas Jacob Trollinger late of same county deceased father of the above named Ann C Lovett - following lots, or parcels of land situated in A.C.MD, lots #3731, 3937, 3924, 3925 . . . part of a tract of land called "Balls Good Luck" containing 100 acres, also the other tract called "The Walnet Hill, containing 36 1/2 acres . . . containing in the whole 336 1/2 acres . . . for the sum of $75.00 paid by the said Jacob Trollinger to Jacob Lovett and Ann C Lovett his wife . . .
