DEATH:Leadville,Lake,Colorado Cemetery Record; 1879-1980; FHL F#0415127. OBIT: Leadville Daily Herald: Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1880; "The remains of Mrs. C.C. Laub, the lady who died the other day, were buried in Evergreen Cemetery Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. The funeral services occurred at the residence, 408 Hemlock St."

BIRTH-DEATH:Missouri death certificate #15070. On this death certificate her fathers name is listed as Samual Johnson. The informant was her daughter who may not have known her mothers maiden name, or had knowledge of her grandparents. At the time of her marriage to George she was Mary Duncan, age 20. Her daughter does list her as being born in Larue County, Kentucky. Larue County was formed from Hardin County in 1843.
