Franklin Alexander Sago was born 8 March 1856 near Desloge, St. Francois Co. MO, the son of Lewis and Temperance "Tempy" (Banister) Sago. He was a farmer.
He married 8 March 1888 in St. Francois Co. MO to Ellen Rosa Anne Green, daughter of Joseph and Mary E. Green. She was born 15 Sept. 1867 at Bonne Terre, St. Francois Co. MO.
Frank Sago died 22 Feb 1935 at Bismarck, St. Francois County,Missouri. Rosa (Green) Sago died 26 July 1947 at Bismarck, St. Francois County, Missouri. They are both buried in the Masonic Cemetery, Bismarck, St. Francois County, Missouri.
They were parents of five children:
(1) Alice Lavina Sago was born 16 September 1891 in St. Francois County, Missouri. She was married to Frank Rickmar.
(2) William Felix "Bill" Sago was born 5 November 1893 in St. Francois County, Missouri. He was married to Martha Jane Bowen.
(3) Mary Ann Sago was born October 1895 in St. Francois County, Missouri. She was married to Otto Edward Whaley and David D. Lipking.
(4) Morris Clinton Sago was born 29 June 1897 in St. Francois County, Missouri. He was married to Maggie Mae Dennison.
(5) Dorothy E. Sago was born in St. Francois County, Missouri. She was married to J. F. Shelton, Carl Henry Weman, Mr. Pettyjohn, and others.

Interview with Orville Rickmar, Bismarck, MO, 9 Dec. 1994: Grandpa Sago (Franklin A.) had "spells" and would black out. Grandma Sago (Rosa) would rub camphor on his wrists. Grandpa Sago died because of his heart problem.
