• Maine Families, Bk. 3, by Harold C. Perham discusses the Canwells, the Murches, and the Faunces, among other families. This is also the mysterious "Cole book" that contains the list of Cole ancestors that first got me interested in genealogy. A copy resides in the Maine State Library in Augusta.
• Maine Families, Bk. 2, by Harold C. Perham discusses the Wing family. A copy resides in the Maine State Library in Augusta.
• Saga of Two American Families: Andrews-Titus, by John Alva Titus is the only book to discuss the family of Peres Andrews. Titus found that the "old Greenwood records" identify Darius Andrews as Peres' father. I have a copy of these records on CD and I can verify that the "record" is there, although these documents are recreated from originals that were burned in a fire at the turn of the 20th century. Note also that Titus collapses Peres Andrews "Sr" of Minot-Auburn-Poland with Peres "Jr" of Franklin Plantation-Sumner, which I and others have definitively proved to be separate--and as yet unconnected--people. This work contains other errors, so use this information cautiously. A copy of the book resides in the Maine State Library in Augusta.
