These are my paternal grandparents, Carroll Shult and Doris Emeline Pease Shult, on or shortly after their wedding on December 23, 1922.

This photograph of Carroll was the last one taken of him before his death. It was taken for the annual yearbook of the United Methodist Conference. He was 49 at the time. Doris's picture was taken at the same time as an accompaniment. Carroll died in June of 1949.

portrait at Doris's graduation, in 1919. I think
this picture is extremely beautiful.
This is another graduation picture of Doris, in 1919.
In this one, she appears to be wearing her robe.
An earlier picture of Doris, from her high school days.
She wore glasses for a few years in high school, and
this picture shows her with them. This may have been
her senior class picture.

Carroll in his ROTC uniform in high school. He didn't
actually serve in WWI because it ended when he was 17.
Carroll as a junior at Hedding College, 1920. He was about 21.
