Amy Belle

Amy Belle Young was the second child born to George Washington Young and Hester A. Fiscus. She was born in Harrison County, Iowa on July 11, 1881. Her brothers and sisters that were also born in or near Harrison County were:
William Henry Young, born in 1879
Cleveland Charles "Cleve" Young, born in 1882
John Alexander Young, born in 1885
James Andrew "Jim" Young, born in 1887
Isaac Freeman "Shine" Young, born in 1888

Sometime after 1888, the family moved across the river into Nebraska and lived in Burt County near Decatur. The rest of Amy's brothers and sisters were born in this area of Nebraska.
Mary Elizabeth Young, born in 1890
Martha J. Young, born in 1892
   Jesse Young, born in 1895
Nellie Edith Young, born in 1896
Robert Lee Roy Young, born in 1898
Anna Charlotte Young, born in 1902

Amy would marry Royce "Roy" Granger on July 12, 1899 in Decatur, Burt County, Nebraska. They would have two daughters, Hazel and Pearl. I don't know any of the circumstances, but Amy married Henry Cole on August 26, 1907 in Onawa, Monona County, Iowa, so her and Royce must have divorced. Pearl shows up in the Cole family and takes the Cole name, but Hazel doesn't appear again with either Amy's family or Royce's family. This leads me to believe she may have died before 1907. The pages for both families is Here.
