Alma Enterprise, 20 May 1904
On the morning of May 6 Mrs. Hannah Weeks, wife of Lewis Weeks, was called to her last long rest. Death was caused by measles and complications which arose from them, though she had not been well for over a year. She was 39 years of age and leaves a husband, three sons, and two daughters to mourn her loss. The funeral services were held Sunday morning, May 8th in the Kaw Valley M. E. Church, after which she was laid to rest in the Greenwood cemetery. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of the neighborhood.
