MRS. ANNA SANDER
Mrs. Anna Mary Sander, daughter of Joseph and Addie Cowan Raine, was born March 23, 1890 at Wells Creek, Kansas, and passed away September 19, 1963, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frances Slater in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church of Alma, the Altar Society and the Royal Neighbors of Alma. Her husband, Francis A. Sander, whom she married February 8, 1911, preceded her in death on May 14, 1954. Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Frances Slater of Kansas City, Mrs. Gertrude Paul of Eskridge, and Mrs. Dorothy Williams of Phoenix, Arizona; two sons, Harold of Seneca, and Raymond of Overland Park; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, G. L. Raine and L. J. Raine of Maple Hill, and Francis C. Raine of Topeka, and one sister, Mrs. Jessie Arnold of Eskridge. Services were held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Alma, Monday, Sept.23, at 9:30 a.m., Father Kenneth Siebert in charge. Interment was in Holy Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were Chris Wentzberger, Jack McCoy, Joe Richmond, William Diehl, P. J. Schulte, and Ted Schreiber.
