This is an ambrotype and so was probably taken between 1854 and 1857.   Anna (Powers) Lawrence was born in 1811 and would be 43 to 46 years of age at this time.    Because this is an ambrotype, what we are viewing is the negative image.   We will reverse the image and continue our examination.
