CLASS OF 1973 REUNION

 


Social Gathering – Friday, July 25th

 

The Reunion will start Friday, July 25th, evening at 6:30pm with a Social Gathering at Jeff & Linda Adams home.  Snacks and soda will be provided.  You may bring legal beverages of your choice.  The committee would like to thank Jeff & Linda for opening up their home for this event.  {Directions:  It is the stone house at the top of the hill in Dowden’s Addition…take a right at the fork… and there will be signs.}  This is a great time for everyone to see each other and just have a good time.

 

Dinner/Dance – Saturday, July 26th

 

We decided on the Fire Hall because the price is right!  Jeff will be providing a large party tent outside for those who would like to smoke or get some air.  The event is not real “dressy,” however, a  shirt & tie would be a good idea.  Starting at 5:30pm, there will be a social half hour and at 6:00pm, dinner will be served.  Beer & soft drinks will be available.  If you want mixed drinks, you will need to BYO.  After dinner, door prizes and a few words will be said.  We have hired a DJ who is said to be very good and will play “OUR SONGS.”  Scott Bradfield is chairman of the Decorating Committee and he has some great plans to set the tone.

 

Cost of the Weekend

 

We are able to keep the price at $35.00 per couple and $20.00 per single!  Our goal was to make it reasonable for all to attend.  The only way we are able to do it is by holding a 50-50 Raffle to take away some of the expense.  Registration money for the event needs to be in by June 30th.

 

50-50 Raffle to Benefit Class of 1973

 

The committee decided to keep the price of the weekend as low as possible by supplementing the cost through a 50-50 Raffle.  In this packet you will find 20 tickets to sell.  The money and tickets need to be returned by June 30th.  Of course if you need more tickets, we will get them out quickly.

 

Class of 1973 Booklet being Created!

 

As a keepsake of the event, a booklet is being created and every member of the class will get a copy.  In the booklet will be information on every member of the class.  This is why it is so important we receive your autobiography.  We have over 90% already.  If you have not sent yours in, please do so by April 30th to allow for printing.  You can send it by email, snail mail, or do it over the phone with one of the members of the committee.  Those few left as of April 30th will be created by the committee.

 

We are attempting to add current pictures of members of the class & their family.  Pictures will be returned at the Dinner/Dance.  Please send pictures by April 30th.  Place your name on the back of the picture.  The pictures will also be part of a display at the Dinner/Dance.
