Info on Marguerite's grandfather Antoine Bourg (my 9th great-grandfather):

Arrived in Acadia about 1636. Antoine Bourg was born 1609 in Martaize, France in the region of Loudun, department de la Vienne. He arrived in Acadia in 1636 and established his home at Port Royal where he married Antoniette Landry that same year. Antoine was the progenitor of the Bourg line in Acadia. Some of his children established their homes at Cobequid. Many of his descendants were to flee Colbequid prior to the expulsion in order to escape the English and sought sanctuary on Isle-St. Jean which was a French Colony. The spelling of the name "Bourg" also appears as "Bourc". This is the spelling used by Elfer Miller in his research.

Info on Marie Madeleine Doucet's great-grandfather Germain Doucet (my 9th great-grandfather):

Germain Doucet (also called Laverdure) was born around 1600, in the Seine and Marne River area of France. He married Marie Bourgeois, sister of Jacques (also known as Jacob Bourgeois), the founder of Beaubassin. Germain Doucet arrived in Acadia around 1632, as a major in the service of Charles de Menou d'Aulnay. The researcher, F. René Perron, believes that Germain Doucet (also known as Laverdure), military commander of Port-Royal, confidant and intimate friend of Charles de d d'Aulnay, probably lived, before his arrival in Acadia, at the military base(?) of La Verdure, from which he got his nickname. This was located about fifteen kilometres from La Ferté-Gaucher, in the Seine and Marne area.
