Janet Murray Alexander 1898
Janet Murray ALEXANDER was born on May 11th 1898, and was the third of ten children born to Andrew ALEXANDER and Janet MURRAY. At the time, the family was living at 11 Moore Street, Coatbridge, in the county of Lanarkshire. It was just two months prior to her birth that her father Andrew signed his own half brothers and sisters to the Quarrier Children's Home after they ended up in Barnhill Poor House in February 1898 with the deaths of their parents.
