This indenture, made the First day of May in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty Nine between Dr. George J. Harvey of the Borough of Doylestown County of Bucks and State of Pennsylvania and Mary L. his wife of the one part and Hugh McVan of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth, that the said Dr. George J. Harvey and Mary L. his wife for and in consideration of the sum of four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) lawful money of the United States of America. Unto them will and truly paid by the said Hugh McVan at and before the sealing and delivery of those presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released and confirmed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release and confirm unto the said Hugh McVan his Heirs and Assigns, all those certain two lots of land situated in the Borough of Doylestown aforesaid bounded and described as follows to wit: Beginning in the middle of York Street on the line of Lot No. 28 as per Dr. Harvey’s plan of Lots thence along York Street in a northeasterly direction one hundred feet to a corner then in a southeasterly direction along the line of Lot No 31 on the said plan about to be conveyed to Michael Biglan two hundred and twenty feet three inches to the line of Dr. G. J. Harveys line of Lots thence along said line in a southwesterly direction one hundred feet to a corner thence in a North Westerly direction along the line of said Lot No 28 two hundred and twenty feet three inched to the place of Beginning. Being a part of the same premises which Mahlon Atkinson & Wife by Deed dated the 2nd of April 1869 and Recorded in the Recorders Office of Bucks County in Deed Book No. 140 page 266 granted and conveyed unto Dr. George L. Harvey in fee. The said two lots being No. 29 & 30 on Dr. Harveys place of lots Together with all and singular the Improvements , Ways, waters, Water Courses, Rights, Liberties, Privileges, Hereditaments and Appurtenances, whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining; and the Reversions and Remainders, Rents Issues and Profits thereof, and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever of them the said Dr. George J. Harvey and Mary L his wife in late, equity or otherwise howsoever of,in and to the same and every part thereof.
To have and to hold the said two lots of land Hereditaments and Premises hereby granted or mentined, and intended so to be with the appurtenances, unto the said Hugh McVan his Assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said Hugh McVan his Heirs and Assigns, forever.
And the said Dr. George J. Harvey his Heirs, Executors and Administrators doth by these presents, covenant, grant and agree to and with the said Hugh McVan his Heirs and Assigns, that He the said Dr. George J. Harvey his heirs and Assigns, against him the said Dr. George J. Harvey his Heirs and against all and every other Person or Persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof, Say from or under him them or any of them shall and will Warrant and forever Defend.
In Witness where of the said parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and seals, Dated the day and year first above written.

This Indenture, made the Second day of January in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Eight Hundred and seventy five between Hugh McVan of the borough of Doylestown County of Bucks and State of Pennsylvania of the one part and John Horton of the Borough County and state aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth, that the said Hugh McVan for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred Dollars lawful money of the United States of America unto him well and truly paid by the said John Horton at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released and confirmed, and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release and confirm unto the said John Horton his Heirs and Assigns, all that certain lot of land situate in the Borough of Doylestown aforesaid bounded and described as followed to wit. Beginning at a corner in the middle of York Street a corner of lot now or formerly owned by Michael Biglan, thence by the said Biglans lot in a South-easterly direction ? hundred and seventy feet three inches to link of lots now formerly owned by Dr. G. L. Harvey, thence along same line in a south-westerly direction to a corner of other lands of said Hugh McVain from which this lot is taken thence by said Hugh McVain Lot in a north-westerly direction two hundred and twenty feet and three inches to a corner in the middle of the said York Street thence along the said Street in a north-easterly direction fifty-feet to the place of Beginning. Being part of the same premises which Dr. G. L. Harvey and wife by their deed dated May 1st A. D. 1869. Recorded in Deed Book No 164 Page 158 conveyed to the said Hugh McVane in Fee.
