     Lyman Konkrite was born on 26 November 1804 at Steuben County, New York.2 He married Sarah Colver, daughter of Samuel Colver and Rachel Currey, on 15 February 1827 at Union County, Ohio.1,3,4 Lyman Konkrite died on 8 August 1864 at age 59.2
     He wrote agent of the empresario Citizen S. F. Austin reguesting to be received as a colonist and thus be granted a league of land on 13 May 1831 at Austin, Texas.5 He received grant of land for one league of land in June 1831 at Austin, Texas.5 On 26 October 1850, Lyman Konkrite of La Grange, Texas wrote Gov. P. H. Bell concerning indictmets found by the grand jury of Fayette county against John. A. Paxton and E. S. Wooley for the murder of his brother John Cronkrite.6 On 18 November 1850, Lyman Konkrite of La Grange, Texas wroteto Gov. P. H. Bell regarding indictments found by grand jury regarding murder of his brother, John Cronkrite.6 On 1 July 1851, Lyman Konkrite of Eldorado, Union County, Arkansas wrote to Gov. P. H. Bell of Texas regarding indictments agaings John A. Paxton and E. S. Wooley for murder of his brother, John Conkrite.6 He received duplicate certificate for one labor of land on 25 June 1856 at Fort Bend County, Texas.7 He received certificate for one labor of land on 20 November 1862 at Ellis County, Texas.7
